Asset Allocation

The dynamic management of asset classes is an essential value driver for the long-term performance of a portfolio.

A strategic asset allocation which is aligned with the investors’ risk capacity and tolerance is generally important. However, due to its lacking flexibility it is not suitable for incorporating the short- and mid-term capital market return cycles and, at the same time, prevent opportunistic actions.

Application possibilities of the dynamic asset allocation include, among others, the management of the duration of a bond portfolio or the systematic management of the stock-bond-ratio in a balanced fund.
